LOCATION

  • Dragon Dreaming is held at Cooradigbee Homestead, 542 Caves Rd, Wee Jasper.
Google Maps can send you on some long and sometimes rough roads so if in doubt, put Yass into Google Maps first and then once there, put in the Caves Road address to avoid ending up on these roads, especially if you are heading up from Victoria/Melbourne direction.

  • Of course! The festival is held on the shores of Lake Burrinjuck and the water is usually the perfect temperature for swimming.
We'll have lifeguards stationed at the water's edge during daylight hours, and we ask that you refrain from swimming after dark for your own safety.
Children MUST be supervised in the water at all times by a responsible adult.

  • Yes, but all large vehicles (over 6m) or towing vehicles (trailer/caravan) must purchase the large vehicle pass ($99+ booking fee).   Please follow the specific instructions of traffic wardens on site. Parts of the site are not suitable for heavy or towed vehicles, which could get bogged. Our Traffic & Camping team know best, so listen to their advice.

Go to the “Get Involved” tab on this website to apply.

WHAT TO BRING

  • We know you love your pet too much to place it in a confusing and scary environment with loud noises, flashing lights and many people, so we won’t take that question seriously. If you’re stuck, there are kennels and catteries for your fury friends in Yass or find a lovely human who can look after them for you. Please don't bring them to the event.

  • We’re going to stick up for your sleepy neighbours and say no. Nobody wants to hear your track selection at a festival unless you were booked to play on a stage.

Please leave it at home or you could risk it been confiscated.

  • No. Generators are both a fire hazard and make you an obnoxious neighbour. Those people next to you REALLY do not want to be woken by the noise or exhaust fumes in their tent. Any generators found on site will be confiscated and kept in a secure location awaiting collection as you exit the festival.

  • Dragon Dreaming is a BYO event and no alcohol can be purchased on site. We strongly encourage all patrons to be responsible with the consumption of alcohol.

    NO GLASS!

Security will be checking for glass and excessive amounts of alcohol at the gate. Alcohol in glass will be confiscated at the front gate on entry and also within the festival precinct.

Many people go barefoot at this event, please help keep our site safe.

  • Food and drinks. You will be able to buy food and non-alcoholic beverages from the amazing selection of food and bev stalls in the market precinct but you may want to bring snacks and your favourite beverages.

Adequate shelter - not only your tent but don’t forget a good quality marquee or tarp to sit under with your mates (No blue tarps, they break up and leave micro-rubbish). Remember pegs and ropes to tie down your camp properly - it can get windy.

    Sun protection. Shade.

    Your best attitude.

    Clothing for all weather types.

Money- there are ATMs on site, but best to bring some cash also.

    Torch, batteries.

Don’t forget your eski and toothbrush!

    FABULOUS COSTUMES!

    Reusable water bottle/container.

    Electrolytes.

Butt bin if you are a smoker.

An open heart, and care and consideration for your fellow dreamers - we all need to look after each other!

FACILITIES

  • There will be plenty of drinking water available on site for free so please bring your reusable water bottle.

  • Dragon Dreaming is a ''Leave a Positive Trace” event. Everything you bring to the event you will need to take home with you. There will be bins within the festival precinct but they will be for your market food scraps and 10c refundable cans ONLY. When you are in your camp please keep your camp area tidy and pick up all of the little things like ciggy butts, zip ties, ring pulls, etc before you go.

When we are not there, many animals and birds call it home. We are only borrowing this land so please help us to reduce the impact that we have on it.

Remember if you PACK IT IN you PACK IT OUT! Consider what you are bringing as you will need to take it home with you.

  • Yes.

However, we are in the bush so we do suggest you have some cash just in case.

  • Tune in and drop out, they say, and we agree. You will most likely be unable to check your Instagram, Facebook or Tinder while at Dragon.

LIVE IN THE NOW and enjoy the fact you won’t be checking your phone for a few days.

Dragon staff will have access to communications for emergencies. Please do not hesitate to reach out to a crew member if required.

  • No, there are no showers.

There is a refreshing lake for swimming and bathing. We do however ask patrons not use any soaps, detergents or washing products in the water.

WAIT!!!

  • As much as we would love the weekend to never end and to dream together forever, everyone must vacate site by midday on Tuesday the 7th of October 2025.

  • If you are an industry professional you may have been lucky enough to purchase an industry ticket. This industry ticket is a 4 day festival pass that gives you entry Friday - Monday.
Thursday Passes for early entry and Vehicle Passes are not included in this Industry ticket and are sold separately and are best pre-purchased as the gate prices will be higher.
